Live Archive NEARfest

Mixing desk recording of the band's (note: THE BAND!!) appearance at the USA Nearfest live festival in 2002. Across 22 tracks and 103 minutes of music, it's a magical ride through the man's past and present, mainly past, with some stirring performances of classic tracks such as 'Watcher Of The Skies', 'Hairless Heart', 'Firth Of Fifth', 'Spectral Mornings', 'Los Endos', 'Camino Royale' and many more on a mix of vocal strength and instrumental splendour from a band giving a loyal and dedicated prog-rock audience exactly what they want - solid rhythms, endless horizons of synths and keyboards all topped up by some of Hackett's finest electric playing in a live setting.

Solid to the point of heavy, dynamic to a fault and totally electrifying, this is a predominantly instrumental performance and one of the best Hackett albums for ages, as moving and stirring a concert of classic prog-rock proportions as you'll find, essential listening for any fan of the man or the band with which he was associated.
